Media and Cultural Industries

In June, Tore Slaatta and his research team at the Department of media and Communication finalized a research project on literary policies concerning non-fictional literature in Norway. See more at For many reasons, literature and the publishing industries are becoming a major research interest of mine. Perhaps inspired as a counter-reaction to the developments elsewhere in the media research field of always «going digital». Of course digitalisation is changing the cultural industries, but for research it might be more effective and more rewarding to keep the eye on the «old» cultural industries.
